Thursday was a free day, but a
farewell dinner was arranged for us at the Barbecue & Grill
Restaurant "De Heuvelrug" in Leersum.
We had all agreed between us that we should
contribute, to buy presentation gifts for our hosts Pietje,
Ria, Leo and Guust. In recognition for all the hard work, that they had put
into our stay.
Below are some of the photos. Some photos came out
OK, others were not very good.

The table barbeques were lit and food was
displayed nearby, where one could choose from a wide and varied
menu. we cooked the food at the table.

Leo Groeneweg talking to Donald Collier. Donald
wore a lovely pair of tartan trousers. Christine wore a tartan
skirt. Other members asked me where my ones were.
So I told them
"Donalds pinched ma troosers". |
|
Ann Henstock in the background preparing an
ice-cream for Pete our chairman. But why is Pete laughing, because
here is one he prepared earlier.

|
Deryl and Mavis Millington. Mavis made a beautiful
card for Leo and Pietje, she purchased the materials, whilst she was
shopping. |
| |
|
Joan and Maurice Ogden. One day at the camp Joan
rescued a frog,
Gwyn Jones said, " You should have kissed it
Joan and
it might have turned into a handsome prince". Maurice butted in
and said, "She would have tried that first". |

Sander Groeneweg he was everywhere, helping anyone
