The JBA Open day was very busy this October.
The weather was warm and the sun shone.

Many owners turned up.
JBA conducted test drives in the factory
demonstrator all day.
The models ranged from this original Falcon
Roadster.

I did like the way Keith did his beading along the rear
valance tray.

Eric Watkins Cortina based Tourer was
also present.
Eric had not long since returned from a trip to
Scotland with his Falcon.
The engine bay is something to see, all
stainless steel accessories.

At the factory JBA were refurbishing an
older Sports.
They were fitting the new style opening boot and leather
seats.
It was nice to meet up with another
Scotsman at the Open Day. Malcolm Jones and his wife paid a visit. He
was looking for a second hand Falcon. A week later he bought Reg
Hartley's Plus Two.
Also in attendance were Les Fragle, Norman Raw and Val
Hays, committee members of the JBA Owners Club. Regulars were Phil
Whittaker and Keith Morrish.
Dave and Ken were delighted by
the turnout.
At the end of the day Dave Ashley left Ken to
shut up shop.
As he drove off into the sun his parting remark
was
" I've given up jogging now! Ye ken."
